STATEMENT OF SOLIDARITY
SDHEA stands for the advancement of South Dakota student affairs professionals and graduate students and we deeply value the diversity, multiculturalism, and human dignity of our Members.
We firmly stand in solidarity with the Black community (and all historically marginalized and underrepresented communities) who continue(s) to be subjected to systemic injustices and structural inequalities. Our thoughts continue to be with the families and loved ones who have been impacted by the recent events that have transpired in our country.
To that end, SDHEA is committed to working closely with our member institutions, especially our students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners who were impacted more directly, in our attempt to do our part to effect necessary change.
